Hans is a German-American aerospace engineer whose career has been dedicated to advancing reusable spacecraft and launch vehicles. He joined the SpaceX team as the 4th technical member in 2002. Through his 19 year career at SpaceX, Hans and his team have supported more than 100 launches. He is one of the world’s most renowned rocket scientists and is actively engaged in the aerospace and space exploration community, serving in advisory and board roles across multiple companies, including Stoke Aerospace and VAST. Recently, Hans flew onboard Blue Origin on a sub-orbital flight.
