 Maggie discovers that Dawson and Robin are now a couple after Robin asked him out in front of her. Feeling disheartened and still dealing with her grief, Maggie receives an unexpected text from Chase, the stranger she had unknowingly been texting instead of her mom. Chase reveals his mother died suddenly in a car accident three days ago. Maggie, empathetic to his loss, offers support and they share their experiences with grief. Despite initial hesitation, Maggie tells Chase he can reach out to her anytime if he needs to talk.
