Nem toda a razão humana, nem todo o conhecimento humano, nem tudo, aliás, nada do que o homem faz vai preenche-lo completamente.

E Salomão foi a prova viva disso. E meditando sobre isso durante toda a semana, meditando sobre o livro de Eclesiastes, eu me lembrei de muitos casos aqui nessa cidade.

Um dos casos foi de um famoso dono de uma loja, de uma rede de lojas que tem aqui em Caculé, em Licínio, em Urandi, acho que em Jacaraci também tem, um homem que desde a sua juventude, segundo conta a história, ele andava de bicicleta e vendia roupas, o que ele podia vender.

E esse homem angariou muito dinheiro. Tanto que as lojas dele estão ainda mas, ele contraiu uma doença que, se não descoberta cedo, se torna uma doença mortal, ele contraiu câncer. Acho que foi câncer de estômago.

E segundo eu ouvi uma pessoa dizer, que esse homem antes de morrer, ele disse que trocaria toda a riqueza dele pela saúde. Que trocaria tudo o que ele tinha, tudo o que ele conquistou, simplesmente para ter vida, para ter saúde. Mas, infelizmente, era tarde. Esse homem, ele percebeu, de uma forma trágica, porque ele, infelizmente, faleceu, que dinheiro não vai comprar saúde, que riquezas não vao comprar a vida, que nenhuma riqueza que o homem possui, nada que o homem possui, ele vai conseguir comprar aquilo que é essencial: a vida, a salvação eterna.

Isso não possível das riquezas fazerem. E Salomão percebeu essa verdade. Salomão percebeu que a nossa vida, aqui debaixo da terra, não faz sentido se olharmos para ela, apenas abaixo do sol, mas acima dele.

Isso significa que a nossa vida faz sentido se olharmos para Deus com a visão eterna, não com a visão humana.

Não com a visão de quem vive aqui simplesmente por viver, simplesmente por passar os dias. E, consequentemente, quem vive dessa maneira vai ter uma visão pessimista, uma visão negativa da vida.

Not all human reason, not all human knowledge, not everything, in fact, nothing that man does will fulfill him completely.

And Solomon was living proof of this. And meditating on this throughout the week, meditating on the book of Ecclesiastes, I remembered many cases here in this city.

One of the cases was of a famous owner of a store, of a chain of stores that is here in Caculé, in Licínio, in Urandi, I think there is also one in Jacaraci, a man who since his youth, according to the story, rode a bicycle and sold clothes, whatever he could sell.

And according to what I heard someone say, before this man died, he said that he would exchange all his wealth for health. That he would trade everything he had, everything he had achieved, simply to have life, to have health. But, unfortunately, it was too late. This man realized, in a tragic way, because he, unfortunately, passed away, that money will not buy health, that riches will not buy life, that no wealth that man possesses, nothing that man possesses, will be able to buy what is essential: life, eternal salvation.

This is not possible for riches to do. And Solomon realized this truth. Solomon realized that our life, here below the earth, does not make sense if we look at it, only below the sun, but above it.

This means that our life makes sense if we look at God with the eternal vision, not with the human vision.

Not with the vision of someone who lives here simply to live, simply to pass the days. And, consequently, whoever lives this way will have a pessimistic view, a negative view of life.

Corrie Ten Boom: "God has no problems, only plans."

The central idea is that life's challenges and difficulties are not arbitrary “punishments” or problems, but parts of a greater divine plan. In other words, even in trying times, there is an underlying purpose that can lead to personal growth, learning and, eventually, greater fulfillment. We see challenges as opportunities to trust more deeply in divine exceptions, believing that God has a plan for each of us, even when we cannot immediately understand the reason for events.
