Tive a oportunidade de acompanhar a Web desde seu surgimento, e o que vi de positivo e negativo ao longo dos anos me faz enxergar o Fediverso como uma alternativa à destruição que redes sociais centralizadas e seus algoritmos tóxicos e focados em lucro têm produzido.
O Fediverso definitivamente não é perfeito. Muito longe disto. Porém, sem o impulsionamento em larga escala causado por algoritmos, a propagação de fake news, discurso de ódio e semelhantes, torna-se um pouco mais difícil. Provavelmente por isso gosto tanto de frequentar o Mastodon e o Bluesky.
