 Today’s discussion examines the situation of Australian women and children detained in Roj camp in north-eastern Syria. The camp, administered by the Autonomous Administration of north-eastern Syria, houses families of foreign nationals allegedly associated with the Islamic State. Many of the children have lived most — if not all of their lives within the camp’s confines.
