Nel 1972, a Bologna, nasce CEFA, una ONG fondata da Giovanni Bersani e Padre Angelo Cavagna, insieme ad un gruppo di cooperative agricole emiliano-romagnole. L’idea era semplice, ma visionaria: portare le loro competenze nei territori rurali dell’Africa e dell’America Latina, dove l’agricoltura rappresentava, e rappresenta ancora, la base della vita quotidiana.
