The Bible reminds us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1, KJV). Ellen G. White explains faith as clasping Christ’s hand in every emergency and accepting His righteousness (Gospel Workers, p. 262; Selected Messages, Book 1, p. 389).
