We have known one another since we were teens in high school. Over the years, I have witnessed Dr. Willis grow into a loving husband, present father, wise pastor, and exceptional scholar. Under his leadership, the Northeast Church continues to experience positive evolution, becoming a nurturing space for Family, Community, and Fellowship. Dr. Willis’ acumen for casting and pursuing bold vision, has led to the establishment of Northeast’s annual Justice Summit, consistent community impact, capital enhancement campaigns, and investments in healthy discipleship. Dr. Willis invites us back into his childhood church to locate the unlikely seeds that have produced an ability to remain focused on where God is leading, trusting that God will always provide.
