La poesía italiana contemporánea no podría entenderse sin la obra de Milo De Angelis (Milán, 1951) desde que en 1976 apareciera su celebrado primer libro, Semejanzas, que supuso una novedad y una ruptura decisivas. El VI Festival de Poesía de Madrid tiene el honor de presentar a los lectores la primera traducción al castellano del gran poeta italiano, recientemente publicada por Ediciones la Palma. En el recital que dio en Poemad, al autor estuvo acompañado por el también escritor Paul Viejo, traductor de Chéjov y Dostoievski y encargado de llevar a los lectores este imprescindible Tema del adiós.
