About this listen

After receiving a most important letter from Uncle Rufus, Rowan Marten sets out on a journey to Black Crag Manor. But strange lands and stranger creatures stand between our young hero and his destination…

The Grand Adventures of Rowan is an anthropomorphic audio drama in the vein of classic British literature, such as "Wind in the Willows," "Peter Rabbit," and "Paddington Bear." Our stories follow a young pine marten, Rowan Marten, as he sets out on a series of adventures in the wide and wonderful countryside, accompanied by a full cast of creatures. Join him as he encounters bandits, pirates, and old friends. It's a show for children both young and old, created to delight and inspire the imagination, with content that is fully family friendly and centered around a wholesome, traditional worldview.
