About this listen

Quail and Christe are a drunken pair of ghost hunters, solving 'terrifying' hauntings, using practical methods. When a ghost causes a lightbulb to flicker, Quail and Christe change the bulb. When doors creak, they oil the hinges; when rocking chairs rock of their own volition, Quail and Christe knock off the rockers and be done with it. That is, until otherworldly trends change and the ghosts and forces of evil take a more direct approach, leaving our pissed up heroes out of their depth and up shit creek without enough bus fare to get home.

This is a tale we wrote and recorded more than fifteen years ago. It’s surreal, doesn’t quite fit, and it has been making us laugh for a very long time. It’s puply, it’s real. It's the best we had then; and we've not done better since. It’s a handmade labour of love, it’s never been far from our minds, always in our hearts. It’s gathered dust on a hard drive for a decade and a half. It’s time it was heard. It deserves to be listened to, so if you’re spending your time here, thank you so much. -------------------------------------------------------------------
