On this week’s episode of KC Closeup, Q104 Night Host Marissa is joined by Casey Waugh, who is the Communications & Annual Giving Manager at Wayside Waifs, to talk about their upcoming Adopt-A-Thon.
All pet adoptions are just $20, making it the perfect time to find your new best friend. The event runs Friday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and even small mammals, all looking for loving homes. Plus, every adoptable animal at Wayside Waifs is spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and has received any needed behavior support to make sure they’re happy and healthy.
