One of the greatest discoveries that a Christian can have is that we are sheep. That's what Jesus calls us. We are the sheep of HIS pasture. Not cattle. Not horses not oxen or donkeys. What sets sheep apart from all of those other animals? They were designed to carry heavy loads. Sheep were not designed that way. Those are all burden bearing beasts. They can shoulder the extra weight. No one uses sheep as beasts of burden. Except for Satan. He tries to weigh us down with all manner of heaviness. Not Jesus! He said - "My yoke is easy and my burden is light. Isaiah prophesied that God would give us the oil of joy for the spirit of heaviness. For far too long we have been hefting things that we were never designed to carry. It is time to cast our cares on Him knowing that He cares for us. This podcast is a burden lifter.
