We chase wonder and keep it honest, from Mall World’s shared dreamscape to the science of sleep, then ground it with grief for a beloved ash tree, rage at state violence, and the quiet revolution of saying no. A Stranger Things moment unlocks a new take on power, while decluttering and boundaries give it room to land. And finally we welcome a new member to the Norton family, Harold the balloon. He was here for a good time, not a long time.
An Ode to Harold...
Harold, floating chaos sprite,
Ceiling goblin, gleaming bright,
You weren’t “just” party décor,
You were the guy who saw it all and more,
A shiny spy, a lazy lord,
Our household’s hovering celing ward.
Until one day, your shift was done—
You drooped, you wrinkled, lost your sun,
And with a gentle, papery fall,
You left your post and said, “That’s all.”
So here’s to you, dear Harold balloon,
Patron saint of the living-room,
May every random bit of trash
Live half as large before it crashes.
