Episode 6: "Changing World"

  • Summary

  • Love. Longing. And relations that can be liabilities. All of these issues play into Composer-Lyricist Rita Abram’s song, sung by the four leads of Pride and Prejudice the musical: ELIZABETH BENNET, JANE BENNET, CHARLES BINGLEY, AND FITZWILLIAM DARCY. This is Josie Brown, Librettist of Pride and Prejudice the Musical. In this episode, I have the joy of interviewing Rita about her process for putting the myriad feelings of this quartet in harmony.

On our next podcast, we’ll be listening to one of my all-time favorite songs in the musical: Being Married, a duet by Charlotte and Mr. Collins. It is also Act 2 opening number, and considering our audience’s ecstatic receptions, deservedly so.

Can’t wait to hear more of the musical's songs? Go to our website — PrideAndPrejudiceTheMusical.com — where you may listen to all of them, download our Reviews brochure, and see videos of some of the productions.
