About this listen
When my sister Channon passed away, grief didn’t just live in my heart, it settled into my body. Over time, my weight became a form of protection, a way to stay hidden from the version of myself that carried so much pain. In this episode, I reflect on how grief reshaped my confidence, how the body remembers what the mind tries to move past, and what it looks like to loosen the armor without forgetting where I come from. This is about choosing joy deliberately, and trusting that it won’t break me.
