 By the time investigators connected 50-year-old Richard Rogers to the murders of four middle-aged gay and bisexual men whose remains were discovered in garbage bags between 1991 and 1993, it had been nearly three decades since Richard had first been acquitted of murder after claiming self-defense. Richard had come a long way from hiding corpses in tents. He’d realized dismemberment was a much better method of body disposal.
