About this listen
On February 5, 1973, an electronic warfare C-47 aircraft, callsign Baron 52, was on an illegal, covert mission, monitoring NVA tank movements along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, in violation of the recently signed Paris Peace Accords. The plane was shot down, killing the four flight crew members. But the four electronic specialists in the back of the plane, vanished. The parachutes were missing, and the rear jump door was never found. Could they have parachuted out and been captured by the North Vietnamese?
