Meet Misha!! 

Misha is a parathlete who hails from the Yosemite area. She is a mother and adventure lover who is passionate about reforming the relationship that our culture has with relating to diversity of body and ability. In 2001, at the age of eighteen, she had an incomplete spinal cord injury when a tree branch broke beneath her.

Since that time she has traveled the world numerous times to deepen her spiritual practices, and work on charitable activities with the MA Math based in Kerala, India. In 2009, Misha had a son, and is expecting a daughter in September of 2021. She works as a disability activist. Through this work she shares tools with newly disabled people, as well as educates non disabled people in order to bridge the chasm that too often divides us from authentic relating.
