Based off of true events and from an article in Vanity Fair by Marie Brenner in 1996, adapted for the screen by Eric Roth and Michael Mann.
The film stars Al Pacino, Russell Crowe, Christopher Plummer, Diane Venora, Philip Baker, Lindsay Crouse, Debi Mazar, Stephen Trobolowsky, Colm Feore, Bruce McGill, Michael Gambon, Rip Torn, Hallie Eisenberg, Cliff Curtis, Wings Hauser, Linda Hart and Robert Harper.
