Kayla is very familiar with Southwest Kansas and has a passion for serving our community. Kayla was previously a Domestic Violence Shelter Coordinator and Facility Manager at a women's inpatient facility to treat substance abuse. She is also on the Board of Seeds of Hope Jail Ministry and volunteers at the jail teaching MRT classes once a week. She is currently a family support specialist for Catholic Charities with an expertise in housing resources. In her current role she is a member of several committees with the Kansas Homeless Coalition working to improve services to end homelessness and also a Domestic Violence committee to better serve survivors that are impacted by homelessness.
