About this listen

It is time for a POETRY SLAM! Pages of Discourse is introducing a new segment this week that is all about poetry. Poetry Slams will explore a real-time discussion of a FIRST read through of a poem, whether it is one of your hosts' or from another poet. This week, we look at a contemporary poem called The Night Migrations by Louise Glück and one of Emily Dickinson's late poems, untitled. Jacob and Evelyn stumble into a surprisingly deep conversation about the afterlife, the role of prayer, and humanizing poetry. Take a listen!

Look out for an EPIC Page Match coming to your feed next week!
