 There were three Burmese invasions of Assam between 1817 and 1826, during which time the Ahom Kingdom came under the control of Burma from 1821 to 1825. Locally, this period is called the Manor Din, period of horror, by Assamese people. These repeated invasions & subsequent emigrations left the Ahom kingdom in shambles©2022 2022 T.V.
