Javier leads a group up the mountain every New Years and this year, Kyle and his girlfriend were part of the group. We chat about Mt. Washington, the trip itself, the gear required, how a winter ascent of Washington differs from one in the summer, the importance of safety in the mountains in the winter, and that really with enough preparation, this kind of endeavor is more achievable than one might expect at first glance.
