About this listen

Jan Lisa Huttner and Amelie Lasker join us to discuss International SWAN day, its past, present, and future. In 2007, with the help of WomenArts Founder and Executive Director Martha Richards, the project went global, and International SWAN Day was conceived. SWAN Day/Support Women Artists Now Day, celebrated on the last Saturday of March,  is an international initiative designed to showcase the power and diversity of women’s creativity. There have been thousands of events worldwide in over 35 countries since its inception. Created and Produced by Jillian Chilingerian and Sophia Badalian. Artwork by Mike De Angelis.
