About this listen
It all began on a spring morning in Madison, WI in 1968. Michael Larson, a college student left his mother’s home in Madison, WI to get a haircut. A couple days later, his abandoned car was found over 300 miles away in Michigan’s Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Despite extensive search efforts, only one clue was ever found - and at some point over the next 50 years, was lost. Since then, nothing additional has been uncovered, and the case remains unsolved. If you have any information on this case, please contact Michael Knack, Park Manager, Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, at (906) 885-5274.
