James Brainard is the mayor of Carmel, Indiana in his 7th consecutive term. He has seen tremendous success throughout his tenure as mayor including (but not limited to) receiving recognition as Money Magazine's #1 Best Places to Live in America in 2012, being named to President Barack Obama's Task Force on Climate Preparedness and Resilience, and guest lecturer across the world.
