ENG: Carlos is a bright young man I got to know while he attended 10th grade at UngeCenter2610. In my English class we had many discussions about race in America and Denmark, and the social dynamics at play in both countries. Now at age 21, while he is focused on his education and working hard to perform well, he still finds himself in a crisis of identity, as do many young Danes with a diverse ethnic background.

I min engelsktime havde vi mange diskussioner om race i Amerika og Danmark, og den sociale dynamik på spil i begge lande. Nu i en på 21 år, mens han er fokuseret på sin uddannelse og arbejder hårdt for at præstere godt, befinder han sig stadig i en identitetskrise, ligesom mange unge danskere med forskellige etniske baggrund.
