About this listen
On this episode of #InMyLifetime444 - Episode 2 1990, I discuss racism, my own child abuse experience, and the murder of a 15 year old teenage girl that change my neighborhood Fillmoe forever.
Due to the increase use of crack cocaine (coke too) in the late 1990s, the homicide and robbery rates in San Francisco increased. With large numbers of handgun carrying juveniles that were involved in the drug trafficking enterprise, led to more murders in a city, that at that time was known more for Castro St and not ALL the violence.
With the high demand for crack cocaine, the city became a dangerous place to live. Take a listen and let's unpack these times.
