About this listen

Today's episode highlights the events of the past several months. These events have reminded me of the old Disney cartoon of Robin Hood. The story centers around a very dark and depressing time in England. A time of high taxes, famine and corruption. Roger Williams sang a song in this cartoon to illustrate these tough times. That song is called, "Not in Nottingham".

The opening lyrics are:
"Every town, has it's ups and downs;
Sometimes the ups, outnumber the downs;
But not in Nottingham"

These are the sediments of many in our country today. Gas prices, inflation, Afghanistan, and Ukraine are all things we have been bombarded with these past several months. Everyone is busy pointing the finger at someone else. If that same energy was expended finding a solution, perhaps the solution would be found.

We are also surrounded by pundits who tell us what to think. They have no interest in solutions. They are only interested in pushing their agendas. No one has an original thought anymore. they can only parrot what their favorite pundit has filled their minds with. Whenever we remove all the "noise" and get back to the simplicity of ... what's right and what's wrong; we may find more awesome days in our future.

However, there are still some awesome things around us that get overlooked. Todays episode includes another "Misadventures with Mom" segment.
