About this listen

In this episode, I chat with Dana Reed. Also know as Capt'n Uke, Dana is a very familiar face in the Sebago Lakes region. He has been motivated by music since early childhood and has literally shared that love with hundreds of people around the world, having traveled extensively as a 28 year veteran of the United State Navy. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Dana has taught a LOT of people how to play the ukulele over the years, including ME! He has taught ukulele at the Windham-Raymond (RSU14) and Gray-New Gloucester (RSU15) Adult Education courses. His love of the ukulele is equally as strong for his love of those who also love the ukulele! He is the leader of the Sebago Lakes Ukulele Society ("SLUKES" or "Sl'Ukes"), which was established in 2015.

Note: This episode was recorded in March 2021 in the amidst the COVID-19 ("Coronavirus") pandemic.
