Sometimes the greatest stories come from the darkest moments. Acid attacks are one of the cruelest forms of torture in our modern era. It does a near irreversible harm to the victim, and results in years of surgeries and repairs. That’s how today’s story starts. But that isn’t how it ends.

Hanifa Nakiryowa grew up as the eldest daughter in a Muslim home. As a young mother she was a victim of an acid attack after attempting to leave an abusive marriage. But through the pain she found Jesus.

So join Tom, Nate and Hanifa as they recount a tale of transformation. Welcome back to the scattered seeds podcast, where every life has a story.
