About this listen
Rose Morrison is a Cape Breton Fiddler. She has been a professional musician for over 20 years. Her music is rooted in Celtic tradition.
she first joined the music scene at age 11 as a member of the world-renown supergroup The Cottars. The group not only recorded three albums and toured North America, Europe, and Japan - they performed at Carnegie Hall to a sold-out audience; earning themselves two East Coast Music Awards!
After leaving The Cottars, Rose needed a break and decided to move around, and experience the world without the restrictions of being on tour. She lived abroad for years, until Covid complicated travel and forced her to move back home to Cape Breton Nova Scotia where she reconnected to her Celtic roots and nature.
In this episode, Rose opens up about her musical journey, travels, finding love, and her future musical projects such as her songs: Let Our Love, and Wedding Sunrise.
