This month our program features a married couple—Art and Abby Ratcliff. Both were born in San Antonio in 1928—at the time of the interview they’d been married for fifty two years! They provide their life history of what life was like growing up during the post Depression era, along with the challenges they faced in acquiring fluency in English. Arthur and Abby both graduated from high school in the post World War 2 era (1947-1948) and experienced a society in transition.
