About this listen

In 2011 in Davis, California 15 year old Daniel Marsh wandered the streets of his neighborhood in the middle of the night looking to scratch his itch to kill. Daniel had been having fantasies about torturing and hurting people and was even sharing these thoughts with his counselor, since the young age of 10. On the night of April 14th 2013, Daniel Marsh would find a house with an unlocked window and crawl inside to find Claudia Maupin and her husband Oliver “Chip” Northup sleeping peacefully in the comfort of their own home, in their bed. Daniel would attack, stab, and mutilate the couples bodies. “Chip” and Claudia were stabbed a total of 128 times that night, but even the FBI could find no physical evidence and had no solid leads to go on. Until Daniel’s ego would explode, and he would start bragging about the horrific crime he committed to his friends at school.
