About this listen

In this powerful and deeply human conversation, we sit down with Jessica Yaffa, B.A., CPC international healthy relationships expert, author, speaker, and survivor of extreme domestic violence whose story has transformed into a global mission of healing and change.

Jessica is the co-founder and President of No Silence No Violence, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the silence surrounding domestic violence and sexual assault. Through prevention education, resources for survivors, and groundbreaking programming for children and teens, her work is reshaping how individuals, families, and communities talk about relationship health and safety.

With more than two decades in the mental health and social services fields, Jessica has served in leadership and training roles across hospital systems, treatment programs, universities, and government agencies. She is also the creator of RVARS (Relationship Violence Assessment and Response Specialist), a nationally recognized training program for first responders, clinicians, military advocates, and organizations seeking to better understand, assess, and respond to relationship violence.

In this episode, Jessica shares:

  • Her extraordinary journey from survivor to leading expert
  • What people often misunderstand about domestic violence
