Summary

 The year is 2040. A competitive Real World gamer named Rolex is time-bumped down to a virtual purgatory of the Metaverse. She is lost, confused, and desperate to get back to the real world, where her mother requires life saving surgery. Meanwhile, The Mist is populated with worthless NFTs, avatars, and cast-off digital characters from the NFT boom of the early 2020s.
