Le vent fouette la roche brune, escarpée, qui borde la plage. Une pluie fine et piquante a vidé le sentier de ses promeneurs et la brume s’est levée, brouillant l’horizon. On ne discerne rien à un mètre, il faut être du coin pour s’aventurer dans ce coton épais. Ou bien fou. Fou amoureux.
L’homme à la carrure imposante s’abrite des bourrasques en relevant seulement le col de son manteau noir, il ne sent pas l’eau glacée sur son visage ; son cœur brûle. Il progresse coûte que coûte.
