UNLV Department of Theatre Chair Norma Saldivar discusses Nevada Conservatory Theatre's mission and the challenges of simultaneously serving the students of UNLV and the community of Las Vegas during a global pandemic that has shuttered most live theatre in the world.

Saldivar recounts the decision to produce the world premiere production of the stage version of William Saroyan's beloved novel "The Human Comedy" to fulfill NCT's mission during this time and interviews playwright Thomas Babbes on his lifelong relationship to the material and the relevance of this period piece at this moment in time.
