About this listen
Ever wondered how some people seem to be natural storytellers whose every story seems to be engaging and have people at the edge of their seats?
More likely than not, they have mastered the art of creating "But...Then..." stories.
Normally, we tell linear stories - event A happens, then event B happens and then C ...and so on. We call this the "And Then..." style.
A good story teller tells stories which zig zag and force the audience to live the moment with the story teller. Call it it the "But....Then..." style.
In this first episode of Word Nerd, I will give an example of the same story told in the "And then..." style and the "But...Then..." style.
You decide for yourself which version appeals more to you.
