About this listen
Dorothy A. Martin-Neville, Ph.D., international speaker, best-selling author of 8 books, and Executive Leadership Coach/Consultant, is the founder of 4 companies including The Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences through which, as a leader in the field of integrative health in the United States, for 19 years she trained thousands, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other medical practitioners, as well as non-medically trained individuals, in the multi-dimensional field of integrative health and energy medicine.
In addition, at the request of various hospitals Dorothy founded a non-profit Institute for Energy Medicine Research to receive funding for research of the various procedures and protocols she developed for working with a variety of diseases/disorders beginning with her work with sun-downing drama for those with Alsheimers and dementia.
Dorothy’s experiences as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of a multi-million-dollar Frontier Medicine Grant, certificates in nine modalities of integrative health, being a recipient of NIH grant funding to research her work in Fibromyalgia, a Clinical Instructor at the University of CT Medical School, a graduate-school teacher, and the founder of a pioneer school in integrative health, has expanded her ability to support her clients far beyond pure business and leadership success. She has a clear understanding that healthy leaders who are thriving create a healthy culture in businesses that are thriving as well.
Finally, as a psychotherapist, Dorothy was in practice for 20+ years seeing 42 patients a week. Combining her well-developed skills in that area, she brings first-hand knowledge to the challenges facing patients and leaders on a spiritual, emotional, and physical level both personally and professionally. Dorothy knows that combined success in health, balance, and life, is imperative for a life well-lived.
