Longer episode as Wee and I discuss all the animals we have on our homestead, how we would rate them for new homesteaders, some things to look out for, some lessons learned. We cover horses, cows dairy and beef, alpaca, wool sheep, goats dairy and meat, rabbits, chickens, geese, guineas, pigs, turkeys, ducks, fish, bees, dogs, cats and even black soldier flies. We touch on some extra ways you can make money with the animals, permaculture uses for animals, ease of care. We plan on going into each species in more detail with a separate episode for each. We think the improvements on audio helped. We lost one of the microphones on the third segment but we managed to salvage. Originally we wanted this as a Zoom meeting and show pictures, video, and links as we are talking about the animals. But, an unexpected cancelation on interviews, and required road trip said use the time we have.
