Dr. Ilyas is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Fellowship Program Director of Hand Surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Ilyas is also the former President of the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, many of his accomplishments we will talk about in this episode. Dr. Ilyas is also the founding president of the Rothman Institute Foundation for Opioid Research and Education, a brand new initiative to help further our goal of combating the opioid epidemic in this country.
