她說這三個字聽起來就像男生的名字。直到最近她驚訝地發現：自新的英文就是repentance。她終於明白，原來這個名字早已預告了自己生命的轉折：她的人生下半場在主裡改過自新，重新擁有了一個新生命。
周自新成立的非營利組織不僅為洛杉磯Skid Row 遊民們提供食物與必需品，也分享上帝的話語，餵養他們的靈魂，最終的目的是希望能幫助這些人找到生命的價值，走出困境，回歸社會，成為當中的一份子。
