芸人・絵本作家 1980年兵庫県生まれ
『映画 えんとつ町のプペル』(2020)では原作・脚本・製作総指揮を務め、コロナ禍にもかかわらず196万人を動員する大ヒットを記録。 日本アカデミー賞をはじめ、世界中の映画賞を数々受賞。 原作・脚本・製作総指揮を務めたコマ撮り短編映画『ボトルジョージ』(2024)では米アカデミー賞のショートリスト入りを果たし、世界中の映画賞を数々受賞。 ニューヨーク・ブロードウェイではミュージカル『CHIMNEYTOWN』の制作を進める他、2025年には舞台『OTHELLO(オセロ)』（主演：デンゼル・ワシントン、ジェイク・ギレンホール）の共同プロデューサーを務め、ブロードウェイ週間興行成績で３週連続１位に輝く。2025年夏にはミュージカル「えんとつ町のプペル」を製作費4.5億円で上演。開幕前に３万席を完売させた。
2026年3月27日には『映画 えんとつ町のプペル 〜約束の時計台〜』が公開。
