 I giovani sono sempre associati a sentimenti forti, energia indomabile, desiderio di rivoluzione. Nel dopoguerra la loro voglia di cambiare le cose prese il ritmo irrefrenabile del rock & roll e si identificò con balli, atteggiamenti, vestiti e un certo modo di tenere i capelli. La generazione dei capelloni risucì però a trasferire la contestazione dalle prime sale da ballo nelle piazze e fin dentro le proprie famiglie, generando un'onda che ha trasformato il nostro paese.
