Anche san Francesco desiderava andare in Oriente: mentre era ancora vivo, i frati si erano già stanziati in Terra Santa. La fraternità francescana è quindi un modo di essere nel mondo in cui, anche se si è soli, si ha con sé tutti i fratelli.
L’Oriente - sia cristiano che non - ha una ricchezza da condividere con l’Occidente? Può essere un mondo che ha qualcosa da insegnare anche a noi occidentali? E infine: chi è san Francesco in oriente?
