About this listen
This week's guest on Behind The Crown Podcast is Tim Surrett! Tim joined the Kingsmen in 1989 and stayed with the group till 1996. During this tenure, Tim was known for playing bass guitar & rhythm guitar for the group & known for singing his signature song, "Wish You Were Here", which was released in 1991! Tim left the group in 1996 & then rejoined the guys in 2002, when the quartet was called The Carolina Boys Quartet! Tim remained with the group, singing lead & baritone, until 2005, when the group was then again called The Kingsmen!
Listen as Tim tells some great road stories & relives some of those early days with the Kingsmen & Squire Parsons!
