About this listen

The Halloween Special is here and it’s a full-on disaster from the start. James opens as Freddie Mercury reincarnated, Rachel looks as dead on the outside as she is on the inside, Jake argues about how to say “trick-or-treating” and Danny can’t stop peeling his fake skin off mid-recording. Somewhere in the middle of all that, we talk about our Belfast Meet-up, questionable costumes, and how Jake has never been trick-or-treating in his life.

James kicks off the scares with Dublin’s haunted Kilmainham Gaol, setting the tone for the night. Rachel tries to tell her Crumlin Road Jail story but ends up in a full breakdown over the word “incarceration.” Danny and James LOSE IT and any hope of a serious ghost story dies instantly. Then the team share listener stories from haunted nightclubs, ghost kids running under streetlights in Florida and a few unexplainable UFO sightings over Belfast. Things wrap up with talk of haunted pubs, prison weddings and whether ghosts actually touch people — or just stick around for the craic.

It’s haunted history meets total breakdown. Loud, ridiculous and somehow still one of our funniest episodes yet.
