About this listen

In this week's episode, I am talking about how to become a more productive writer. Now, back in the day, I used to have to produce a huge amount of features and content to a deadline. So I am very deadline driven. So the first thing I would say if you are using a tool like Asana or Trello is to set yourself writing deadlines. If you want to write a book by the autumn, figure out how many words you need to write and set yourself deadlines and the same for a blog or social media content.

Episode Highlights:

  • (01:29) Show up for writing the same way that you show up for every part of your business
  • (02:09) Reward yourself
  • (02:41) Get yourself a writing coach
  • (03:37) Join accountability groups
  • (04:33) Use the Pomodoro technique
  • (06:00) The more that you write, the better you get
  • (06:27) Connecting with nature has proven to improve your attention
  • (07:54) It's my absolute mission to get more people out walking and writing
